AEW star and former WWE Superstar Miro will be challenging Darby Allin for the TNT Championship on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the special Blood & Guts themed episode. Even with the massive main event, there were still some pretty sizeable moments on the rest of the pre-taped card. As per usual, Darby Allin took a crazy bump on the show.

Around halfway through hour one, ’˜All Ego’ Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky appeared on the concourse in Daily’s Place to cut a promo. Both men took shots at Sting and TNT Champion Allin, the two men they are currently feuding with.

Miro vs Darby Allin

Darby Allin appeared during the promo and attacked both men, before Page and Sky were able to get the upper hand on the TNT Champion. The segment ended with Allin taking a big bump down the concrete steps at Daily’s Place; for someone who is known for his daredevil antics it still looked pretty gnarly.

With Allin now injured, it appears as though Miro is in prime position to take the TNT Championship from the diminutive Champion. Despite this, Allin wrote on Twitter that he will be ready on Wednesday for his match. ‘Long story short my shoulder is f—-d” Allin wrote. “But If I got till Wednesday to get my s–t together I’ll do just that.’

Miro responded to this, saying ‘denial will get you hurt bad. Ask emo face-paint Daddy Sting if you can win. If he wants to protect you he’ll tell you it’s over too.’
