Sammy Guevara Quits The Inner Circle on AEW Dynamite

Founding member of The Inner Circle faction Sammy Guevara ‘quit’ the team on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. A video feature was shown at the start of the show where Sammy Guevara went face-to-face with MJF in the locker room. MJF has been cordial to all members of The Inner Circle thus far, however Guevara believes that Maxwell Jacob Friedman has ulterior motives within the group.

Sammy attacked MJF and it caused the ‘Salt of The Earth’ to appear for his tag team match later in the night with tape on his ribs. Following the match where MJF teamed with Chris Jericho to defeat The Acclaimed; Sammy Guevara appeared and made it clear to Jericho that he was quitting The Inner Circle. Guevara then left the ring and went to the back.

Sammy Guevara Leaves Inner Circle?

Following the segment, Guevara was seen leaving the building before being questioned by Alex Marvez. Sammy Guevara said that he “needed time away from this place” before leaving Daily’s Place and heading off into the night.

It is not confirmed if Sammy Guevara has officially left the group, although he does appear to have been written off AEW programming, at least for a short while.
