CM Punk made his long-awaited return to pro wrestling when he debuted on this past week’s episode of AEW Rampage on TNT and FITE TV.
AEW stars and the man himself have been teasing the debut for the past couple of weeks, with the news of CM Punk heading to the company being the worst kept secret in wrestling.
All Elite Wrestling has now released a special behind the scenes look at the return of CM Punk, with a look at the 42-year-old’s arrival in the promotion.
It’s a pretty cool insight into how the production team work, with a full view and audio of the team behind the scenes during the entrance of the straight edge star.

Punk will now be going on to the AEW All Out PPV event to take on Darby Allin in his first pro wrestling match since the Royal Rumble in 2014. The match will likely be headlining the show on September 5th in Chicago, Illinois.

- ‘Varsity Blonds’ Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison vs. ‘The Lucha Brothers’ Penta El Zero Mideo and Rey Fenix in an AEW Tag Title Eliminator tournament match.
- Jamie Hayter vs. Red Velvet.
- Orange Cassidy vs. Matt Hardy.
- Malakai Black vs. Brock Anderson.
