Former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan will reportedly make his way to All Elite Wrestling very soon. According to a new report from Cassidy Haynes at Bodyslam.net, the former WWE Champion will be debuting in September for the All Elite brand on Dynamite.

BodySlam has now confirmed that the company is looking to bring Bryan on September 22 as part of the massive Dynamite show in New York City.

The September 22 show will be airing from Arthur Ashe stadium, which is the first time a pro wrestling event has occurred in the traditional tennis venue.

“We were told that Danielson was wanting to work less dates for comparable money, he wanted the ability to be able to work in Japan, and wanted to have creative input on his character, all of which he got.”

It’s not confirmed what else AEW has planned for Bryan, and it is also worth noting that no other sites have confirmed that Daniel Bryan is officially signed with All Elite at this point.

This news all comes as CM Punk is reportedly back in talks regarding a return to the squared circle. According to a new report from Fightful Select, the Straight Edge star is in negotiations to make a return to the ring.

The site noted that CM Punk ‘has been in talks to make a return to pro wrestling as an in-ring performer, with sources indicating that AEW is the most likely landing point.’

We hope to have more on this story as it develops.
