It was recently rumored that AEW commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross would be removed from his full-time position as a commentator on AEW programming.
Ross was apparently going to be moved into a more part-time role, only appearing on the bigger shows and events to lend his iconic voice to proceedings.
Both Jim Ross and AEW President Tony Khan have now reacted to the news, making it clear that the former voice of WWE will not be going anywhere.
Ross took to social media this week to write “that’s news to me,” whereas Tony Khan would confirm with F4Wonline that Jim Ross will not have a change in his role with the company.
