This week’s episode of AEW Rampage has already been taped, and apparently a “ton” of people left during a Women’s match on the show.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, a lot of people left during Toni Storm vs Nyla Rose match on the card.

‘A lot of people left ’“ a lot, a lot of people left during the Nyla Rose/Toni Storm match” Meltzer revealed on the podcast.

“And I heard the Bucks match with Yoshi-Hashi and Hirooki Goto, they had a hard time getting the crowd but because they had such a good match they did get the crowd” Meltzer added.

“The (Royal Rampage) Battle Royal, I heard the crowd was very into though” the host of WOR concluded.

It’s worth noting that Rampage was filmed following Dynamite, meaning that people will have seen the epic Blood & Guts match and were probably exhausted.

The Friday night show has also been lacking when it comes to the week-on-week ratings over the past few months.

The TNT Network show is not drawing what it was during the show’s inception, but that is to be expected with the show originally being home to names like CM Punk.
