Top AEW star pulled from upcoming New Japan event

AEW injury

It has been confirmed by New Japan Pro Wrestling that AEW star Jon Moxley will no longer be taking part in the NJPW Battle In The Valley event on 11/13 in San Jose, California.

Moxley was set to be part of the card but has now been replaced by Will Ospreay. This is likely as AEW Full Gear will be taking place on Saturday 13th November, after originally being scheduled for November 6th.

It is not confirmed who Moxley will be facing on the AEW Full Gear card, however he will likely be in a featured contest. New Japan confirmed the news on site by writing: “On Saturday November 13, Battle in the Valley will see NJPW return to the San Jose Civic for the first time in over two years for the major event known as Battle in the Valley.

“Tickets are already selling fast for the event, which will be broadcast on NJPW World and FITE, and after competing in Texas and Philadelphia this autumn, Will Ospreay has added his name to the mix!”
