It has been reported that The Good Brothers, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, were originally meant to debut in All Elite Wrestling on the inaugural episode of AEW Dynamite.
Dave Meltzer wrote in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the duo were meant to be part of the inaugural episode of AEW Dynamite, however they re-signed with WWE and this would not end up occuring.
According to Meltzer, Anderson & Gallows “had agreed to return to New Japan after their WWE contract expired,” this was back in July 2019.

“Anderson & Gallows were going to jump The Young Bucks and start a feud on the first episode of Dynamite” Meltzer also revealed, which is very different from the quasi-Bullet Club stable idea that AEW have run with over the first half of 2021.
“That’s when WWE upped their offer to a five-year deal at $750,000 per year and they took it” the WON journalist concluded.
Karl Anderson will be challenging Jon Moxley for the IWGP United States Championship on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which will be a Fyter Fest themed show.
Anderson recently said on social media that he plans on beating the ‘f*ck’ out of the IWGP United States Champion when they go head to head this Wednesday night.
‘I’m serious. I’m gonna beat the f*** out of #JonMoxley next Wednesday on Dynamite,’ Anderson wrote. ‘What the f*** do I have to lose? Nothing.’
