It has been reported that several significant people inside of WWE believe that Daniel Bryan will be making his way shortly to AEW.
According to a recent report from PWInsider, WWE has had no internal discussion regarding Bryan returning, nor have they listed the former WWE Champion on its internal roster.
PWInsider wrote that “there have been some in the company who have taken that to mean that Bryan is signing or will sign eventually with AEW. But PWInsider.com has no confirmation that is correct.”
Daniel Bryan future plans
Although this would be a massive secret for AEW to hide, they’re doing a fantastic job thus far if they are doing so.
What can be confirmed is that Daniel Bryan is not part of a recent list of talent plans for licensing and merchandising across 2021-2022. It’s also been reported that Bryan is not on the docket for any future Mattel action figure releases.
According to a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Daniel Bryan is one of the current crop of free agents that is most likely to be heading to the Jacksonville based promotion.
The biggest free agent names right now are Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and the aforementioned Daniel Bryan. It is improbable that we would see Lesnar or Punk in All Elite, but Bryan is absolutely a possibility.
AEW President Tony Khan has teased some big surprises over the next few months with Dynamite, Rampage and the ALL OUT PPV taking place in front of live fans once again.
Dynamite will soon be heading to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York in front of a sold-out 17,000 crowd, so the company may be looking to have a massive surprise there. Daniel Bryan could be that massive surprise.
