UFC Heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou recently reacted to comments made by Jon ‘Bones’ Jones. The former Light-Heavyweight Champion Jones posted to Twitter during the UFC Vegas 20 event from over the weekend, slating fighters in the top weight class for their lack of pace.

“These boys better get used to pushing the pace” Jon Jones wrote. “All this standing around ain’t gonna fly when daddy comes home #ufcvegas20.”

Francis Ngannou on Jon Jones

Francis Ngannou is currently set to be taking on UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 260. The current belief is that UFC President Dana White is setting up Jon Jones to take on the winner of that fight later this year. Ngannou responded to the comments made by Jones on Twitter himself. “Daddy comes home? (laughing emojis)” Ngannou wrote on Twitter soon after Jones made his comments.

Whilst it will take a lot to make this fight a reality this year, the prospect of seeing Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou, for the title or not, is massively intriguing.
