UFC Welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal recently spoke to ESPN. Masvidal will be challenging Kamaru Usman at UFC 261for the 170 pound belt, and ‘Gamebred’ has been receiving a lot of hate for getting the nod in the title match.

Colby Covington is just one of the prominent names who isn’t happy that Jorge is back in the title hunt so quickly. Masvidal himself is more than aware of Covington’s problems, and both were slated to be part of the upcoming Ultimate Fighter series as coaches.

‘That was never an official call” Jorge Masvidal said to ESPN, regarding the rumours that he and Colby were going to be coaches. “They were throwing things out, everybody is calling me out, everybody wants to fight me.”

‘They are throwing numerous things out at a time” Masvidal continued. “Me being a coach on The Ultimate Fighter with Colby? It was probably never going to happen, because I was for sure going to end up in handcuffs.”

“You can’t pay me enough money to hear this idiot, nah it’s not happening” Jorge Masvidal continued. “You can’t pay me enough money to have to do six weeks with this f*****g idiot. I would have gone to jail for a fact and I’m not trying to go to jail.’
