UFC Middleweight contender Marvin Vettori has called out Israel Adesanya in spectacular fashion. Vettori is coming off of a dominant, but not exactly explosive, decision win over Kevin Holland at the UFC APEX.
“@stylebender wassup little guy ready to go??” Marvin Vettori began on Twitter. “Are you still feeding bananas to your dog from your own mouth?”
“It’s because Id like to break all your teeth so that you can do that even better” Vettori continued. “Cant hide forever it’s inevitable.”

Vettori was originally expected to face Darren Till at the aforementioned Fight Night event; that was until Till revealed he had a collarbone injury that meant he could not compete.
The number #1 ranked fighter in the 185lb division is Robert Whittaker. He himself got a win over the weekend against Kelvin Gastelum, and following the fight he said how he believes Vettori needs to do more to earn a title fight against Adesanya.
‘I like Marvin, I guess. He’s alright’ Whittaker said to media following his Fight Night win. ‘But I think there’s fights he still needs to make. I don’t think he’s fought the top three dudes, the top five dudes, really. But he can wait his turn.’
‘Let me have my fight’ Robert Whittaker added, saying how he wants another shot at Israel Adesanya. ‘And then he [Vettori] can fight the winner of that. Relax.’
