UFC Featherweight great Max Holloway recently appeared on The Helwani Show. The former UFC Featherweight Champion discussed a number of topics during his time on the podcast, including his explosive win over Calvin Kattar at the first ever UFC card on ABC.

“I think that was…that was really my best performance out there [in the octagon]” Max Holloway began. “I mean, we get better every time, that’s what you do. To do it against a guy like Calvin Kattar, who many, many hold him as one of the great boxers in our, not in our division, but in all of UFC? That performance against him was great.”

Max Holloway then praised Kattar who took a barrage of strikes from the Featherweight GOAT. “Like I’ve been telling everybody, it takes two man, it takes two to tango. Calvin deserves just as much praise as I do man. He is in there, taking it. He was in there giving it too the whole time, so my respect to him. But I think I really believe that was my best performance [in MMA] for sure.”
