Former UFC competitor Paige VanZant has officially signed on for her first fight with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships. VanZant will be facing Britian Hart on February 5th.

Paige VanZant wrote the following on Instagram earlier today. “Best of 2020 is this picture right here. Bout agreement signed for my @bareknucklefc debut. February 5th baby!!!! Let’s go!”

Bare Knuckle FC President David Feldman previously spoke to MMA Fighting and confirmed that he was looking for February 5th to be VanZant’s debut. Britian was always one of the more likely candidates for the fight, and now it has been made official.

‘It was the opportunity I was excited about,’ the former UFC Flyweight revealed to MMA Fighting after signing with the promotion back in 2020. ‘I’ve been a fan of their sport and it’s something that I’m really going to be able to show off my striking. If you look at my MMA career? My biggest downfall has been my jiu-jitsu and my striking has been my passion. I’m so excited to show that off.’

This will be Paige VanZant’s opportunity to showcase her striking abilities in a new discipline. You can find more information on how the watch the event via BKFC’s official website.
