WWE released a number of Superstars at the beginning of the year, with waves of names across the main roster, NXT and 205 Live having lost their jobs unexpectedly, thus becoming Free Agents.
Buddy Murphy, Braun Strowman, Lana, Ruby Riott, Santana Garrett and Aleister Black were all released back on June 2 of this year. This means that their 90-day non-competes have now ceased.
Braun Strowman has teased that he will be confirming his next move at some point this week, although it is rumored that he is being considered for a return to WWE.
Ruby Riott, now Ruby Soho, will likely be debuting for AEW this Sunday as part of the Casino Battle Royale match at the AEW All Out PPV.
Buddy Murphy, now Buddy Matthews, will be part of the IMPACT Wrestling roster going forward, although the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion will also likely be appearing for some independent promotions as well.
