Juice Robinson and David Finlay, collectively known as FinJuice, have been on IMPACT Wrestling programming over the past few months. The New Japan Pro Wrestling tag team won the company’s Tag Titles from The Good Brothers and held on to them until this week’s episode of IMPACT.
The duo lost the belts to Violent By Design, in what is believed to be one of the final shows from the tapings that the tag team were part of.
Rhino, a member of VBD, cashed in his Call Your Trophy that he won at Bound For Glory 2020; getting the Tag Team Championship match after FinJuice had just defended against Ace Austin and Madman Fulton.
“What the hell is a Call Your Shot trophy? I’ve heard of a briefcase, didn’t know there was a trophy” David Finlay said to IMPACT cameras after the match.
FinJuice Talk Potential Return To IMPACT
Juice Robinson finished by revealing that FinJuice intend to return to IMPACT. “We’re going to Japan, we’re whooping ass, and we’re coming back here sooner rather than later and we’re picking up where we left off.”
“Well, besides before a couple of minutes ago but we’re picking up where we left off before we lost those damn belts” Robinson concluded.
With the current ‘Forbidden Door’ concept allowing talents to move back and forth, there’s still a chance that FinJuice could appear in AEW at some point. There have been a number of NJPW talents appearing for All Elite; including KENTA, Yuji Nagata and Rocky Romero, so having FinJuice appear would be a boon for the tag team division.
