Former WWE Superstar Aleister Black held a Twitch ‘hangout’ shortly after WWE confirmed that he was to be released earlier in the week.
Black discussed a number of topics with fans during the stream; these would include plans that WWE actually had for the former NXT Champion on the SmackDown brand.
“There was a moment where I was supposed to win the US Title” Aleister Black revealed on the stream; however the man now known once again as Tommy End didn’t elaborate on the time frame.

“But Vince [McMahon] said ‘I don’t want him to have his first title win in front of no audience'” Black would then reveal.
Aleister Black would also reveal that originally he was only meant to be off of television for a short time back in 2020. Black was injured after losing a match to Kevin Owens in October 2020; and Tommy End confirmed that he was meant to be off for a very short time.
“I was supposed to only be gone for six to eight weeks, but you can’t control what happens” Black confirmed on the stream.
