Former WWE Superstar Andrade has been confirmed for a match against Alberto Del Rio. The two Mexican stars will be colliding in McAllen, Texas on July 31.
Speaking to Super Luchas, the former World Heavyweight Champion Del Rio confirmed that he and Andrade are set to wrestle in just a couple of months.
‘For the first time they are going to see what people on the Internet have been asking for, for a long time” Del Rio began the interview. “Andrade against Alberto del Rio. I don’t think we have ever seen a poster of such magnitude featuring two Mexican stars in Texas.’

The July 31 event will also feature former WWE Superstars Kalisto, Primo and Epico.
Del Rio still faces aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault charges. This stems from an incident from last October involving an unnamed woman.
The trial for this was originally expected to take place in San Antonio earlier this year. The trial has now been pushed back to May 3, a couple of months before this event is expected to take place.
It’s not confirmed if there will be any other former WWE Superstars at the event aside from Andrade.
