It has been confirmed that former WWE Superstar Batista has been added to the cast for a major Netflix exclusive. Deadline reported exclusively that Batista will be part of Knives Out 2, which Netflix recently landed the rights too in a monumental deal.
According to Deadline, it was “first reported in March that Netflix was closing a deal north of $400 million for the next two instalments” of the Knives Out series, “a historic deal for streamers.”
Batista Appearing in Major Franchise
Batista will be joining James Bond star Daniel Craig and director Rian Johnson for the sequel. Daniel Craig will be reprising the role of super sleuth Benoit Blanc.
Batista is also the featured star in Zack Synder’s new Army of The Dead film that releases on Netflix this month. ‘The Animal’ is also set to star as Jason Momoa’s brother in the next season of Apple TV+’s See.Â
The former World Heavyweight Champion is also of course part of the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe. Having appeared in both Guardians of The Galaxy films and of course as a bit part player in some of the Avengers films. Batista is set to return for Guardians of The Galaxy: Volume 3.
