WWE Superstar and Intercontinental Champion Big E recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio. The New Day member discussed a number of topics during the show, including how WWE uses part time talent in the bigger WrestleMania bouts.

“You also know how it is man” Big E began on the show. “They’re going to go through a list of part-timers, the big names, the big money guys who work once a year. They’re gonna go through that list and if they if they can’t get all those guys booked for that Roman spot for WrestleMania? THEN it’s kind of like ‘now, who do we look to that works here on a weekly basis?’

The WWE Intercontinental Champion then made a scathing comment against the company regarding their decision to give the part-timers ‘bigger’ opportunities. ‘Who’s actually been grinding [week to week]? And now maybe we give them an opportunity.’
