WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently spoke to Hannibal TV. The Olympic Gold Medallist discussed a number of topics during the interview, including whether he looked at AEW or WWE as an option to return to the wrestling industry.
‘Well my relationship with WWE is really good and I like to keep it that way” Kurt Angle began the interview. “I don’t have any plans of going to AEW. I haven’t really spoke to them that much.”
“There’s just a couple messages sent back and forth but nothing serious” Angle continued. “I have something going on with WWE right now and it most likely will materialize.”

“I can’t talk about it but that’s what I’m waiting on and I don’t wanna mess that up” Angle noted, revealing that at least there are plans, if not concrete, for him to return. “The company’s been so good to me and I wanna be loyal to them.’
Angle had previously teased a return to the squared circle. When AEW were hyping up their ‘Hall of Fame Calibre’ talent before their Revolution PPV; Angle put out a video of his boots and implied he would be joining AEW. It was later revealed that this was a PR stunt to promote The Kurt Angle Show podcast with AdFreeShows.
