In what many consider to be a massive shock, Bobby Lashley retained his WWE Championship at WrestleMania 37.
After around 40 minutes of delays due to increment weather, WWE could finally start the show proper with the WWE Championship match. McIntyre looked like he could get the job done, however Lashley would take the win with The Hurt Lock.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley took to Twitter to react to the match. It seems as though the Hardcore Legend was not happy with how the match ended.
“A FULL F’N NELSON?” Mick Foley began in his tweet. “AS A FINISH? AT #MANIA IN 2021? WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?”
