The ‘ongoing’ feud between WWE RAW Superstars Mustafa Ali and Ricochet resumed as part of yesterday’s tapings for WWE Main Event this week.
WWE taped the following matches for this week’s episode of the show: Ricochet vs. Ali, and Drew Gulak vs. Akira Tozawa.
Mustafa Ali took to Twitter following the taping and he made a bold claim regarding the in-ring action between he and the former PWG legend Ricochet.

“#MainEventMustafa returns this week” Ali wrote on Twitter. “It’s gonna be the best match of the week too.”
Both Mustafa Ali and Ricochet have been criminally underutilized on WWE programming over the past few months, if not years. Whilst Ali has been prominent as the leader of RETRIBUTION, the group was completely diminished as a threat as the storyline wore on.
Ricochet came into WWE and NXT as one of the biggest names in the independent wrestling world. Yes, he’s clearly making a decent wage, but if you compare him to his former foes such as Will Ospreay? He is nowhere near where he should be as an internationally renowned and consistently featured Superstar.
