The Miz reportedly suffered from an injury during the WWE WrestleMania Backlash PPV event. No, he’s not suffering from zombie bites…but he does appear to have an injury that will be keeping him out of action for some time.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has reported that The Miz suffered a torn ACL at WWE WrestleMania Backlash. This was of course during his ‘zombie’ lumberjack match against Damian Priest.
It’s not confirmed if it was a partial or full tear of the ACL, and it was also not confirmed exactly how long The Miz will now be out of action.
The Miz Injured
There was a moment during the match that Damian Priest landed awkwardly on Miz’s knee, and the former WWE Champion was selling this throughout the contest.
Credit to The Miz for powering through a match where he would end up getting ‘eaten alive’ by zombies in the aftermath.
