WWE are reportedly in the ‘early stages’ of planning for some test live events with fans in attendance. WWE President Nick Khan has previously stated that when WWE starts touring again, it will be permanent.

PWInsider recently reported that the company are already making plans for live events. “The company intends to start out with some test live events this summer” the site wrote. “But they are very early in the planning stages and would be subject to where things stand nationally with the COVID-19 pandemic.”

It was originally reported that WWE were hoping for SummerSlam to be the official return date for fans when we hit August. There are still numerous waves of COVID-19 affecting the globe and the company clearly want to make sure that they pull the trigger at the right time.

WrestleMania 37 of course had live fans in attendance for both nights of the shows. Whilst WWE only had WrestleMania as a stop gap, they clearly felt that the events were successful and still intend on bringing in fans at a later date.
