WWE recently announced a special broadcast show. Superstar Spectacle will be broadcast specifically with their Indian audience in mind. The Superstar Spectacle taping is likely to be taking place around January 21st, and now there’s some updates on how the show will come together.

The event will reportedly be taped at the WWE Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. This will be on the aforementioned 21st January. The show will be broadcast locally in India on the following channels: Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3 and Sony MAX on January 26th.

NXT India

The original plans for the show were for an aforementioned one night only event. However, WWE apparently have made the decision to change the format to a ‘weekly’ show. WWE are reportedly ‘hoping’ that this will be become a weekly television series along the lines of NXT UK.

NXT UK currently airs on BT Sport in the United Kingdom, with a more UK-centric style and broadcast structure geared towards a UK based audience. Superstar Spectacle is likely to become a similar type of show, however it’s not confirmed if the rumoured ‘NXT India’ is what this will become.
