WWE Superstar Bayley recently took to Twitter to praise AEW star Tay Conti. The Brazilian star had faced AEW Women’s Champion Hiraku Shida on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tay Conti was unsuccessful in her attempt to defeat the reigning Women’s Champion; however she had a good showing in the match itself.
“Tonight I didn’t fail, I learned” Tay Conti wrote on Twitter following the match. “Thank you so much @shidahikaru ! So much respect for you. I’ll pick myself up and I’m coming for you again! Literally the hardest match I ever had.”

Bayley, seeing this online, responded to Conti, saying how proud she was of her growth in the pro wrestling industry over the past few years.
The WWE Superstar wrote, ‘I remember working your tryout, proud of you!’ Tay Conti then responded to the praise, saying “I’ll never forget your energy, thank you !!”
Bayley of course is notable for having not had a match at WrestleMania 37 this year. The former Women’s Champion is expected to be pushed back up the card in the coming months, potentially in a feud with a returning Becky Lynch. This however is not confirmed and just conjecture at this time.
