WWE Superstar Kevin Owens (real name Kevin Yanick Steen) is currently signed to the WWE SmackDown brand. Owens began his pro wrestling career on May 7 2000, wrestling his very first professional wrestling match on his 16th birthday.
Before signing with WWE in 2014, Kevin Owens was a major part of the global independent wrestling scene. Having worked for the likes of International Wrestling Syndicate, Combat Zone Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerilla and Ring of Honor, Kevin Owens was regarded as a main event draw on most cards around the world.

Owens made his WWE main roster debut in May 2015, appearing to face John Cena as part of the United States Championship Open Challenge series. The match never happened, however the two men would collide at Elimination Chamber and Owens would win clean.
During his time on the WWE main roster, Owens has won the Universal, Intercontinental and United States Championships on multiple occasions.
