WWE Champion Bobby Lashley successfully defended his title on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. The ‘Almighty’ WWE Champion faced a returning Keith Lee and beat the former NXT North American Champion.
Following the win, WCW legend and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg appeared to challenge Lashley. Goldberg said, “I’m next,” indicating that Lashley will be facing him at the upcoming SummerSlam PPV event on August 21st.
Bobby Lashley has now responded to the former WCW Champion, denying him the opportunity to get a shot at the gold when WWE heads to Las Vegas in August.

‘You don’t belong in the same world as me, let alone the same ring,” Bobby Lashley wrote, aiming the returning Goldberg and his challenge.
“Get that close again; MVP won’t be able to hold me back”, Lashley added. “No thanks, old man. #WWERaw @WWE,’ the WWE Champion finished tweeting.
Goldberg has been out of action for quite some time, having last performed at the Royal Rumble 2021 PPV event against Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship in a losing effort.
Lashley vs Goldberg is still the working plan for the WWE Championship match at SummerSlam, which will co-headline a big card with John Cena vs Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in the closing match of the show.
WWE has yet to make any matches official for the SummerSlam 2021 event. However, other mega matches are likely to be confirmed as we get closer to the event itself on August 21.
