Former WWE Superstar and Universal Champion Braun Strowman recently confirmed that he would return to the squared circle at some point.

Strowman was released from WWE around a month ago, in a shock move attributed to budget cuts for the company, as Braun Strowman was reportedly on around $1.2 million per year.

‘Not gonna lie, these videos are hard to watch right now,”, Strowman wrote on Instagram, reacting to a fan video. “But I’m so thankful for the time I had to be able to share such an amazing part of my life with my friends and their kids.”

“Putting smiles on the little one’s faces was my favorite part of my time with WWE”, Braun Strowman continued. “I’d lie if I said I wasn’t in tears right now posting this.”

“But it’s stuff like this that I need to see and be reminded of and how truly blessed my life has been and how much impact I have had on people. I’m sad that chapter in my life’s book page is turning but I promise I will find a way one day again to be able to go out there and inspire people around the world that anything is possible and dreams come true!!!”

According to Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE want to bring the massive Superstar back, but for less than the 1.2 million per year that he was making before his release.

‘They’re interested in having Braun Strowman back at a lower price’, Meltzer began on the show. ‘But who knows what things will happen. I guess he’s signed up to do a show in Qatar, so he’s doing some indies, so he’ll get a big payday off that.’

The show also noted that WWE is a very different landscape in terms of giants than it was when Strowman initially signed.
