Gable Steveson comments on Brock Lesnar’s new look

Olympic Gold medallist Gable Steveson recently appeared on Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour podcast. The man who has been teasing a move to either to the UFC or WWE in the near future.

Gable Steveson has a very close relationship with the recently returned Brock Lesnar. Both Lesnar and Steveson were present at the WWE SummerSlam 2021 PPV event this past Sunday, and Steveson revealed that he told Brock to cut off his new ponytail.

“Brock came in one day, we were practicing. The first video you probably saw of me and him wrestling, he was real tired” Steveson began, adding some context before getting into his SummerSlam story.

“He came in and he was like, you’ve got to cut that s**t off of your head. I was like, ’˜what do you mean? I like it.’ And he was like, ’˜No, you’ve got to look like a professional'” Gable Steveson added.

“And so I thought about it for a few months and mid-match I’d get my hair pulled. Few months later’¦ I was like, you know what? I’m going (to short) and I’m going to grow a beard out” Steveson revealed.

“[Brock Lesnar] comes out Saturday at Summerslam. He got this ugly hair and beard and all that” Steveson jokingly recalled. “I was telling him, ’˜Yo, you remember you telling me to cut my hair and I told him you gotta cut yours now.’ Bro, you gotta cut it off.”

Brock Lesnar is set for a program with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, although the exact date of their first contest has not yet been officially revealed by WWE.
