Former WWE Superstars The IIconics, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, have confirmed that they will be making their way back to professional wrestling.

The duo, now called the IInspiration, will be announcing where and when they will be appearing in the coming weeks and months shortly.

The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions released an image to social media to attract attention ahead of their return to the ring, and it certainly appears to have worked:

The IIconics Return

Cassie Lee, formerly Peyton Royce, wrote the following on social media with regards to the duo’s return to pro wrestling in the near future.

“Finally, IInspiration returns to professional wrestling. Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay present The IInspiration Tour. Dates and cities to be announced soon”

Jessica McKay, formerly Billie Kay, also wrote the following on social media with regards to the duo’s return to pro wrestling in the near future.

“Finally, IInspiration returns to professional wrestling. @CassieLee and @JessicaMcKay present The IInspiration Tour. Dates and cities to be announced soon”

It has not been confirmed where the former WWE Superstars will be heading, although IMPACT Wrestling and AEW are reportedly extremely interested in bringing the tag team into their respective promotions.

Shawn Spears confirmed back in May that he wanted to see the tag team in AEW, with Cassie Lee of course being his real world wife. ‘Obviously they [the fans] would assume that would be the plan that because I work there’ Spears began. ‘Her husband works there, that it’s just, naturally she’s going to’¦ Those questions are above my pay grade.’

‘I don’t have anything to do with the hiring process’ Shawn Spears added. ‘Selfishly, of course! Why would I not want my wife working there? Not only do I feel it’d be great to see her on a weekly basis with me, but what her and Jess can offer our women’s division and the entertainment world as a whole is just second to none.’
