WWE Superstar Asuka has been missing from television for the past few months. There has been a lot of speculation regarding the Japanese star’s status with the company, and we now appear to have an update.
According to a report from the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Asuka is not injured, and WWE creative reportedly just haven’t factored into her appearing on the show as of now.
Asuka has not wrestled for WWE since the Women’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match at the titular July 18 pay-per-view event.
The former NXT Women’s Champion was in attendance for a recent RAW taping; however, she left early as she was not booked for anything on the show itself.
It has not been confirmed if Asuka will be working dark matches ahead of her return to WWE programming, or if the company will get her to make a shock appearance, perhaps even at WWE SummerSlam 2021 tonight.
Why is Asuka off WWE television?
