NXT Superstar Bronson Reed lost his North American Championship on this week’s episode of the show. Reed lost the belt to Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott after interference from the Hit Row.
Following the loss, Bronson Reed apologized to fans on social. ‘My fans, my friends, my family. My wife. I failed you. I’m sorry. Now what? @WWENXT.”
Bronson Reed was recently seen on an episode of WWE Main Event, where the former North American Champion was reportedly ‘auditioning’ for a role on the main roster with either RAW or SmackDown.
Will Bronson Reed to go RAW or SmackDown?
WWE are keen to bring up more talent from the gold brand as they look to revitalize the company going forward. Vince McMahon himself is heading to the Performance Center this week to evaluate some of the talent for a potential move up.
Reed is one of the juggernaut performers who would likely appeal to McMahon and could have a very good run on RAW or SmackDown. With his title loss, fan speculation about his moving up to RAW or SmackDown has flared up again, and it is likely that he will be making his move up in the coming weeks.
There are also rumors that Bronson Reed may end up in the Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match as a way to introduce him to the ‘main’ audience on WWE PPV.
Either way, it appears as though Triple H and the NXT crew will be losing multiple talent over the next few months as WWE looks to shake things up.
