WWE are reportedly looking at holding a Queen of The Ring tournament later this year, and it now appears as though we have some official dates for the event(s).

Wrestling INC reported back on July 22 that WWE was planning to hold a Queen of the Ring tournament. At the time, there was no official date on then the tournament would be held. WrestlingINC’s report noted the “tentative plan is for the event to be a main roster show airing on Peacock.”

Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast has now reported that the tournament is currently scheduled to start on the October 8 WWE SmackDown and October 11 episode of Monday Night RAW.

Whilst it was believed that WWE would be holding a one-night tournament, it appears as though they will be running Queen of The Ring across multiple shows in October.

It has also been revealed, again by Andrew Zarian, that WWE are also planning to hold the final of the QOTR in Saudi Arabia on October 21.

WWE are planning to return to Saudi Arabia, travel restriction dependent, and having the final of the Queen of The Ring there would be a huge moment for the show.

The company has not confirmed if and when QOTR will be taking place, but it is pencilled in for later this year, even if the October dates do not come together.

WWE’s next PPV event will be SummerSlam, which takes place on August 21 from Las Vegas, Nevada.
