UFC veteran Clay Guida took a unanimous decision win over Michael Johnson last night at UFC Fight Night Las Vegas. Guida out worked Johnson and appeared to even be ready for more when the fight ended.

Guida made his UFC debut back in 2006, and he doesn’t look like he is slowing down at all in the cage. After the fight Clay Guida spoke to Daniel Cormier and said that he wants to fight more ‘up and comers,’ with Guida having just signed a new 4 fight contract with the company.

“Oh man has been a long time since I’ve been able to be active” Clay Guida began. “And, you know, fight three times in one year. So Sean Shelby? Stop punishing me for good behaviour! I’m ready to rock and roll my man.”

“Maybe we can get someone that doesn’t have 20 UFC fights” Guida continued. “Maybe not a veteran for once? It’s been a long time since you guys gave me…I wouldn’t say a ‘no namer,’ but you know an ‘up and comer’ if you will.”

Clay Guida then finished by saying that he’s already ready for fights, but he’s looking forward to getting back to fishing. “We’re always ready. We’ll get right back to the drawing board, getting out on the water, fishing. Get out there and hang out in the water and then right back to training camp.”
