It was announced on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite that Kenny Omega will be defending his AEW Championship at the Double or Nothing 2021 PPV later this month. Omega appeared before the Blood & Guts match and Tony Schiavone revealed a #1 contenders match for next week.

It was revealed that PAC and Orange Cassidy will collide to determine the next #1 Contender to Omega’s title at DoN. Kenny Omega baulked at the idea of Orange Cassidy being in contention for the title, saying that Cassidy could “never be Championship material.”

Orange Cassidy appeared to ‘confront’ Omega, whilst the AEW Champion dressed him down in front of the live audience.
