‘The Icon’ Sting appeared once again on AEW Dynamite this evening from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Last week the former WCW Champion was attacked by Team Taz; with Brian Cage hitting a hellacious powerbomb to the longtime veteran and legend.

Many fans were concerned as Sting has been retired since his match against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions back in 2015. Sting was badly injured during that match, compounded by the two buckle bombs that he took from The Architect in that match.

Sting Hits His Finishers

Tony Khan recently revealed that Sting is now “100% cleared again to wrestle.” With that in mind, AEW appeared to have Sting get even more physical on this week’s Dynamite.

Sting hit his iconic Scorpion Splash and Scorpion Death Drop on Brian Cage, exacting revenge or what happened to him last week. Check out The Icon back in action via the tweet below:

The Icon will be taking on Brian Cage and Ricky Starks at AEW Revolution on March 7th from Daily’s Place.
