Update on Kenny Omega Wearing Bullet Club Gear at Hard To Kill

AEW Champion Kenny Omega appeared at IMPACT Wrestling’s Hard To Kill PPV this past weekend. The ‘Best Bout Machine’ would debut in the company in the main event, appearing in a six-man tag team match alongside The Good Brothers, Gallows and Anderson.

The trio faced IMPACT Champion Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and TNA World Champion Moose. Kenny Omega would take the win for his team after hitting the One Winged Angel on Swann.

Bullet Club

Interestingly, the team would appear in Bullet Club gear. Whilst it is clear that the reunited group (including The Young Bucks on AEW programming) ARE former members of BC, they have specifically not used that name on television. The IMPACT PPV was the first instance that the Bullet Club moniker had returned to US soil, at least for the aforementioned Omega, Gallows and Anderson.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there was no ‘ulterior motive’ to the branding. Gallows and Anderson came up with the idea and Omega obliged, wearing a Halloween themed version of the old Bullet Club t-shirt. Whether they opt to continue using the BC gear on AEW and IMPACT remains to be seen.
