New Japan Pro Wrestling held the second to last show of their NJPW Cup tour this morning. During the show there was an earthquake and it could visibly be seen affecting the action on camera.

The incident occurred during the six man tag team match with Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kota Ibushi taking on Yukiro Takahashi, KENTA and Jay White. The US Geological Survey put the strength of the earthquake at magnitude 7.2.

The show was delayed for around 20 minutes whilst the commentary teams covered for the lack of action. NJPW officials carried out safety checks to ensure that the show could continue and eventually it did.
