WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently revealed who he wants to face in a WWE ring next, essentially confirming his ‘dream’ match in the promotion.
The former TNA, NJPW, WCW and ROH Superstar has appeared in a number of ‘dream’ bouts over the years. When Styles joined WWE, fans were able to see bouts that they never thought would happen; including against John Cena, Roman Reigns, The Undertaker and Randy Orton.
AJ Styles vs Triple H
Speaking to ITN Wrestling, AJ Styles would confirm that Triple H is the man he wants to face next in a WWE ring. “Triple H is definitely the next guy I’d like to face at some point if it,” Styles stated. “It could happen, maybe not. But it was an absolute pleasure to be in the ring, or not necessarily the ring, but be in the Boneyard with the Undertaker.”
Triple H appeared in a ‘match’ for the first time on Monday Night RAW this week, facing Randy Orton in more of a fight than anything. The Game certainly looks like he is ready for another match at least, and AJ Styles could be a great opponent for the former WWE Champion.
Could we see The Phenomenal One vs The Game? Certainly could do, even at WrestleMania this year.
