WWE legend Big Show recently spoke to WWE UK to promote the RAW Legends Night that took place this week. During the interview Big Show would discuss the long mentioned potential match between him and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

Big Show was asked during the interview what his ideal WrestleMania match would be at this point; the former Giant in WCW would state that Shaq is still his ideal destination.

“Let’s see. In a perfect scenario at WrestleMania, it would be Big Show versus Shaquille O’Neal,” The World’s Strongest Athlete would state. “That would be a perfect scenario. Because we never really got to make that happen. That’s one of those stones I’d like to get out and settle, ‘Who’s the best big man’, period.”

Big Show would also claim that he’d still be interested in a WWE Championship match if the opportunity presented itself. “That’s funny. I’ve been asked a lot, ‘Are you interested in another championship opportunity or championship match?’ I definitely think in 2021? I’m a guy that’s always looking for opportunity!” Big Show stated. “If I get the opportunity to compete for a coveted championship, absolutely! That’s why I’m still doing this. I’m doing this because I have fun, and I’m also doing it because I’m still really good at it.”

Shaq is currently scheduled to appear in All Elite Wrestling. The match that is being touted will see Cody Rhodes take on the NBA legend. The TNT Network has been working to have a relationship between the NBA and AEW, and Shaq appearing on All Elite and potentially wrestling soon appears to be the next step in that working relationship.
