WWE recently announced that they had come to terms on the release of Braun Strowman. The RAW Superstar was confirmed as being on the chopping block earlier today.
Braun Strowman has been one of the bigger names on the WWE RAW brand for quite some time now. The company had used him at this past month’s WrestleMania Backlash event in the main event against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.
It’s also worth noting that Braun won the Universal Championship from Goldberg at last year’s WrestleMania event. It’s unlikely that WWE would pull the trigger on that move unless he was in their plans going forward.
Braun Strowman Released
This comes as WWE are set to make even more releases today, the company has been cost cutting for some time now and this mega name being released came as a huge shock to fans.
