WWE Superstar and sure-fire Hall of Famer John Cena has been riling up the fanbase once again. Cena is known for his odd way of posting on Instagram, even going as far as to basically troll fans on occasion.
With Cena’s latest post, he seems to be trolling fans once again….or he could be alluding to a close return to WWE. John Cena posted an image of the WWE logo, with no caption, and no logistical reason as to why he would be doing this in the first place.
John Cena Making WWE Return?
Fans have taken this as Cena essentially confirming his return to WWE. It’s worth bearing in mind that Cena is currently based in Vancouver to film Peacemaker, a Suicide Squad spin-off show. The new series will be an 8 episode HBO Max original and will be wrapping up filming in June.
The most logical step for a John Cena return would then be SummerSlam, which takes place in August. At present, the rumor mill is indicating that SummerSlam could be the ‘return’ to live events for WWE, with Texas or Phoenix being the destination for the ‘biggest party of the summer.’
