The ratings for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown are in. The show was going up against the NFL Draft, so it had hefty competition for eyeballs on a night that WWE have been doing well on for the past few months.

This week’s episode drew an average of 1.923 million viewers. This number is down from last Friday’s SmackDown episode. Last week did an average of 2.042 million viewers on FOX, but the Draft was expected to take away some viewers.

The hour to hour ratings for the show were promising however, with the blue brand gaining viewers across the broadcast. Hour one drew an average of 1.875 million, whilst the second hour and main event featuring Daniel Bryan vs Roman Reigns drew an average of 1.971 million viewers.

Last week’s show brought in 2.046 million viewers in hour one; whilst hour two did 2.037 million viewers.

Interestingly the 18-49 demographic was identical for last week and this this week. Both shows took 0.50 in the coveted demo, which was #2 for the night overall.

It’s worth noting that these are the overnight ratings and the official number won’t be confirmed until next week. For context, the NFL Draft on ABC drew around 2 million viewers.
