Darby Allin Talks Losing The TNT Championship on AEW Dynamite

AEW star Darby Allin recently appeared on the Wrestling Perspective podcast. The former pro skateboarder discussed a number of topics during the show, including his recent TNT title loss to Miro.

“I was hyped to go out when I did” Darby Allin began, talking about his Championship loss to the former WWE Superstar Miro on AEW Dynamite. “

Because I was having those string of main events and we were drawing good numbers when I was main eventing” Allin added. “I didn’t want to overstay my welcome.”

“Like, ’˜What the f*uck, when’s this guy gonna lose?’ I didn’t want to be that guy” Allin revealed, “I don’t have no ego when it comes to this. I was like, ’˜Dude, I’m ready to roll out when I’m on top with it,’ so it was good, I really liked it.’

Darby Allin and Sting are scheduled to team up again at the upcoming Double or Nothing 2021 PPV event. The duo will be taking on ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky in Sting’s first in-ring match for All Elite.
