Taya Valkyrie Signs With WWE, Heading To NXT

Free agent Taya Valkyrie recently signed with WWE. As we reported just a few weeks ago, former IMPACT star Taya Valkyrie had fulfilled her dates with IMPACT Wrestling and was moving on from the company.

Valkyrie’s final episode on the show had the reveal that Valkyrie ’˜shot’ John E. Bravo at the Bravo/Rosemary wedding. The storyline was based on Taya Valkyrie trying to protect her friend Rosemary from marrying Bravo; although Rosemary had an ulterior motive to use Bravo’s ’˜virgin blood,’ because she is a’¦ahem’¦.Demon.

Taya Valkyrie Joins WWE

PWInsider recently confirmed the news, saying that Taya Valkyrie is heading to the NXT brand. “TayaÂ Valkyrie, the longest reigning Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion in history, hasÂ signedÂ with WWE for theÂ NXTÂ brand, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.Â She is expected to be part of the next announced class of signings.Â Last week, Paul Levesque touted that the next class of signings will have the largest quotient of female talents to date.Â Taya was at this past Wednesday’s NXT TV taping.”

It will be interesting to see if she debuts tonight on the NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day brodcast.
