Former 2 division UFC Champion Henry Cejudo and current Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling ARE STILL going back and forth on Twitter.

Here’s some context for the online beef that will seemingly never end:

Cejudo sent out a tweet on April 1st, saying ‘this ain’t no April fools but I’m what @ColbyCovMMA thinks he is! #facts.’ Aljamain Sterling then seemingly started the ’˜Twitter War,’ replying and saying ‘you got something in your teeth, ex-champ.’

Initially, Henry Cejudo had remained respectful of Sterling, apologising for his original comments where he said that Sterling had ’˜faked’ the injury he sustained during the Petr Yan Championship fight. That respect however, has seemingly disappeared.

Henry Cejudo on Aljamain Sterling

‘Yep, it’s a bit of disgust from watching you fake your way to a Title. You Oscar winner’ is how Henry Cejudo chose to respond. ‘I learned from the best ’˜champ’’ was Sterling’s final comment, after which Cejudo chose to maul him: ‘I would respond to this but you’ll fake a concussion.’

Now the pair have reignited their feud….on Twitter.

“You see what you started you dirtbag @funkmasterMMA” Cejudo wrote recently. “How many academy awards will be given this year. Start cutting these World Cup soccers players! @danawhite makes me sick.”

“I guess there’s levels to being fouled. You should go suck on them for him. I hear It’ll feel better faster that way, you mook” was Aljamain Sterling’s response.

The chance of a major Aljamain Sterling vs Henry Cejudo fight does however intrigue; the potential box office could be a major draw on a PPV, but it remains to be seen if this is a route the company chooses to go down.
